Buy Zendesk through ShadowRock: licensing and implementation in one contract

ShadowRock is an authorized Zendesk reseller and a Zendesk Premier Implementation Partner. You get the same Zendesk, one vendor for licenses and the build, public-sector purchasing paths, and a team that will still be there at renewal.

Why buy Zendesk from a reseller

Zendesk sells direct, so the question is fair: what changes when you buy through ShadowRock? The product does not. You get the same Zendesk Suite, the same AI agents and Copilot, the same support entitlements and the same Zendesk account team. What changes is the contract and who is accountable. Licenses and implementation sit on one document. One vendor is responsible for the system working, not just for the subscription being active. When seat counts change at renewal, you call the people who built your instance and know what each seat is for.

ShadowRock holds Zendesk Premier Implementation Partner and Premier Solution Partner status, shown on the Zendesk Marketplace, and is an authorized Zendesk reseller based in Texas. Verify our Zendesk partner status on the Zendesk Marketplace.

What is in the one contract

  • Zendesk licenses: Suite plans, Zendesk Support, Employee Service, AI agents, Copilot, Contact Center, Zendesk QA, Workforce Management and other add-ons, quoted at the plan level your requirements call for.
  • Implementation: discovery, design, configuration, integrations, migrations, training and hypercare, scoped as fixed packages or a standing engagement.
  • Term alignment: the license start aligned to your cutover date rather than an old contract's expiry, and renewal timed with your fiscal year.
  • One point of contact for licensing questions, changes and support escalations, alongside your Zendesk account team.

How a purchase works

Scoping before the quote

We ask about seat counts, channels, integrations, data protection requirements and the departments that will use the system. That tells us which plan you need and keeps you from buying Suite Enterprise when Suite Professional and an add-on would serve, or the reverse. We tell you in writing what each add-on does and whether your use case needs it.

A quote in your format

The quote lists licenses and implementation separately so finance can see both, on one document your procurement system can hold as one vendor. For multi-year or phased deployments we show the phases.

Implementation and go-live

Our implementation pages cover the specifics: [AI agents](/solutions/zendesk-ai-agents-implementation), [Copilot](/solutions/zendesk-copilot-implementation), [Zendesk–Salesforce](/solutions/zendesk-salesforce-integration) and [Zendesk–NetSuite](/solutions/zendesk-netsuite-integration) integrations, [migrations](/solutions/migrate-to-zendesk), [employee service](/solutions/zendesk-employee-service) and [IT desks](/solutions/zendesk-it-service-desk), [multi-brand setups](/solutions/zendesk-multi-brand-setup). Each is built in a sandbox, tested with your team and handed over documented.

Renewal

Before renewal we review usage with you: seats that sit idle, add-ons that were never configured, features the plan includes that you are not using. Then we requote. The goal is a renewal that matches how you actually use Zendesk.

Public-sector purchasing

ShadowRock is registered on SAM.gov and on Cal eProcure, and holds a California Small Business / Micro Business certification. State and local agencies, school districts and public universities can buy Zendesk licenses and implementation from us by direct quote, informal solicitation or formal RFQ, with the registration and certification documents your purchasing office requires. Registration details are available on request. Our [Zendesk for government](/industries/government) page covers FedRAMP scope, accessibility and constituent services in more depth.

Referral path

Not every organization wants to change how it buys. If you prefer to contract licenses directly with Zendesk, we can still be your implementation partner, and we work alongside your Zendesk account team from discovery onward. Several of our projects began as Zendesk introductions, including training engagements and proofs of concept delivered with Zendesk's own team. Tell us how you want to buy and we fit the engagement to it.

Beyond Zendesk

Many Zendesk projects touch other systems. We are an [Apollo.io certified partner](/partners/apollo/buy), a certified Formstack by Intellistack partner and a [SignNow partner](/partners/signnow/buy), and we implement and administer Salesforce. If your Zendesk integration needs changes on the Salesforce or forms side, the same team handles them.

What to have ready for a quote

  • Approximate agent seat count and whether any seats are light agents or contributors.
  • Channels: email, web form, messaging, voice, social, in-app.
  • Systems to integrate: Salesforce, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Shopify, Stripe, your own application.
  • Data protection requirements: HIPAA, FedRAMP, data residency, SSO.
  • Your target go-live date and any contract expiry it must beat.
