The interface looks simple, but the execution layer is serious—it handles branching logic, error handling, loops, transformations, and conditional routing without requiring a dedicated engineering team to maintain it. We deploy n8n in environments where data needs to move between SaaS tools, legacy systems, and modern platforms without building custom middleware. It supports hundreds of integrations out of the box and connects to anything with a REST or GraphQL API. Workflows run on triggers—webhooks, schedules, file events, message queues—and can include custom JavaScript when the built-in nodes aren't enough. That flexibility matters when you're automating processes that don't fit templates. What makes n8n valuable for our clients is that it's self-hosted.
