Buy Apollo.io through ShadowRock: seats and implementation in one engagement
ShadowRock is an Apollo.io certified partner. We supply or refer Apollo.io seats and configure the Salesforce or HubSpot sync, sequences, enrichment rules and sending setup, so the subscription is running on day one rather than waiting for someone to find the time.
Why buy Apollo.io through a partner
Apollo.io sells direct, and the product you get through ShadowRock is the same Apollo.io. What changes is that the seats and the implementation arrive together. Most Apollo.io subscriptions stall for the same reason: nobody on a small sales team has time to configure the CRM sync, write the sequences and set the enrichment rules, so after a quarter the tool is used as a search engine and emails go out by hand. Buying through ShadowRock puts a configured system, not just a login, at the end of the purchase.
ShadowRock is an Apollo.io certified partner. Depending on your situation we either resell the seats or refer you to Apollo.io for the subscription and deliver the implementation ourselves. Pricing comes from Apollo.io and is quoted with your implementation. Ask us for our Apollo.io partner listing.
What is in the engagement
- Apollo.io seats at the plan your team needs, resold or referred, with the term aligned to your implementation date.
- [Salesforce or HubSpot sync](/solutions/apollo-salesforce-integration): field-by-field direction, duplicate matching aligned with your CRM rules, and sequence activity logged where sales management looks, tested in a sandbox before production.
- Sequences: campaigns built for the audience you choose, stop rules for replies, bounces and booked meetings, and A/B tested email copy.
- Enrichment rules: which fields Apollo.io may fill, whether it may overwrite an existing value, and how credits are budgeted per list, so hand-entered CRM data is never replaced by a guess.
- Deliverability setup: sending domains and mailboxes configured and authenticated, sending limits and warm-up agreed, and a review of the lists before the first sequence goes out.
- Documentation and handover: a written SOP for cloning and adapting sequences, and optional monthly strategy calls.
Who it suits
Small and mid-sized sales teams that have chosen Apollo.io to replace a contact database, an enrichment tool and a sequencing tool, and that run Salesforce or HubSpot as the system of record. Teams whose founder or one rep has been building sequences in the evenings. Organizations that already run Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) and want one partner for all three systems rather than a specialist for each. For a brokerage selling pre-owned business jets, we built outreach aimed at first-time buyers and have met monthly on technology priorities for years. For a security nonprofit we have supported Salesforce, Account Engagement and Apollo.io as one engagement for more than two years.
It suits less well if you have no CRM and no plan to add one, or if outreach is run by a single person who prefers to work by hand. In that case a shorter advisory engagement, described on our [Apollo.io implementation page](/solutions/apollo-implementation-partner), may be a better fit than a full implementation.
How buying works
Scoping
We ask how many people will send, which CRM you run, which lists you need and what a qualified reply looks like. That tells us the plan level and the implementation scope. We tell you in writing which Apollo.io features your use case needs and which it does not.
Quote
Pricing comes from Apollo.io and is quoted with your implementation, with seats and services listed separately so finance can see both. Where we refer rather than resell, you contract the subscription with Apollo.io and the implementation with us, and we coordinate the start dates.
Implementation
A sales automation planning session first, then the CRM sync, enrichment rules, deliverability setup and the first set of sequences, built in stages and tested with your team. You receive the SOP and the field map at handover.
After launch
Many of our Apollo.io clients keep a monthly call so the setup changes as the sales motion changes. Before renewal we review seat usage and sequence results with you.
What to have ready for a quote
- Number of people who will send sequences, and who owns Apollo.io after launch.
- Your CRM, and which fields reps maintain by hand.
- Your ideal customer profile, written down.
- Sending domains and mailboxes you plan to use.
- Where the pipeline is tracked today.
Pricing comes from Apollo.io and is quoted with your implementation. We do not mark up the product; the difference is that seats and setup arrive together with one accountable partner.
Both, depending on your situation. We are an Apollo.io certified partner and can supply the seats or refer you to Apollo.io for the subscription while we deliver the implementation.
Salesforce and HubSpot. We map fields, set a direction for each one and align matching with your CRM's duplicate rules, tested in a sandbox first.
Yes. Several engagements work that way, and we coordinate the subscription start with the implementation.
Yes. Sending domains and mailboxes are authenticated, limits and warm-up agreed, and lists reviewed before the first sequence goes out.
